TRADITIONAL CONTEXT
-Round spectacles have become the archetypal glasses shape. This is due to the shape of lenses found in early telescopes. Optical lenses were always round, so glasses frames were round as well.
-Early portable watch pieces were overwhelmingly round in shape. This is because of the circular mechanical motion of the watch hands.
PRODUT BENCHMARKING
-Two of the largest players in the smart glasses market are Snapchat and Google. Snapchat glasses offer a social experience that can record share and add augmented reality features to video post recoding. Google Glass offers both a camera and a way to see basic notifications on a display.
-There are a lot of players in the smartwatch market. Some of the leaders include Apple, Fossil, Garmin, Fitbit, and Samsung. The form factor for these devices vary but circular is the most common.

-The augmented reality glasses are able to project visual information for the user to see at their convenience
-Each of the smartwatches offers a different tactile experience to transition between a watch view of information and a glasses view.
-The system in general has three main modes depending on what activities you want to use the system for. These modes can be customized in an app.
-All watch concepts include a heartbeat sensor that starts recording when your heartbeat becomes irregular.
-The watch offers a rotating dial to select modes and alter the viewing experience
